Chances are you’ve never heard of North Albuquerque Acres, even if you live there. It’s one of those development names that only real estate agents and neighborhood associations find useful. The boundary resembles Delaware turned on its side and without the coastal curves. Platted in grid fashion, North Albuquerque Acres fills in the northeast section of the Northeast Heights west of Tramway Blvd. With uniform blocks, each running 0.5 mile east–west and 0.10 mile north–south, its street map resembles a spreadsheet.
