Pickerington Ponds Metro Park is an aggregation of wetlands—ponds, marshes, and creeks. It also has a collection of mostly unconnected trails that explore the wetlands. To best enjoy the 1,600-acre park, one of Franklin County’s largest remaining wetlands, you should take these three trails, each exploring the natural glacially created wetland. Though the trails are not connected, the distance between the trailheads is less than a mile, so you can keep your feet mostly on the ground instead of pushing the gas pedal.
