Nothing about the view from the Badwater Road suggests the surprises that await you on this canyon hike. This is a unique slot canyon carved out of conglomerate, with boulders to crawl under and climb over. The elevation increase over the 2-mile hike to the turnaround is less than 300 feet, making it one of the flattest canyon hikes available in Death Valley.
