Among my favorite hikes, the trail to Skinny Dip Hole Falls not only leads to a spectacular multi-faceted waterfall, but you also have the pleasure of hiking on one of the most famous trails in the state, the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.
The dogs enjoy a cool, shady hike, and when you reach the falls, there’s something for everyone. Inviting pools of crystal-clear water, large rocks to lay upon, and the soothing sound of the falls. Bring a towel, a picnic, and a good book. You may want to stay a while.
