The Harper Creek Trail begins with a steep and strenuous climb, but then flattens out to a leisurely stroll through the Pisgah National Forest. You’ll navigate a few forks before arriving at an overlook of the magnificent Harper Creek Falls. Massive cliffs loom above the falls, adding to the scenery. On your way to the falls, the dogs can run and play and get some energy out in a large primitive camping area near the creek. But when you reach the falls overlook, keep them leashed up.
