This long loop leads through a diverse variety of terrain. You’ll pass the Merchants Millpond, Lassiter Swamp, and the rolling hills of the forest that surrounds it. Mileposts help keep track of your progress, and to hike the entire loop takes a full three hours. The park also has bike trails, a picnic area, camping, and canoe rentals, and you can fish on the park’s namesake—the Merchants Millpond.
