This amazingly flat route packs a punch with plenty of spectacular ride features and natural wonders. The route is filled with many interesting highlights and hangout spots, so plan to spend your time exploring a region that is teeming with wildlife alongside an active industrial hub. Because of this juxtaposition, you’ll ride next to a little bit of truck traffic at times, but always with a wide, o-ff the -road paved path for safe passage. Be well prepared for your excursion by packing a picnic lunch, ample water, binoculars, a beach towel, and your swimsuit.
Things to see: Smith and Bybee Lakes; Kelley Point Park; Willamette River; Columbia River; Columbia Slough; Chimney Park (dog park); Pier Park (disc golf mecca); historic Kenton; downtown St. Johns; Cathedral Park/St. Johns Bridge; Willamette Bluffs
