You have to hit the road to tag the highest point in Connecticut because, at 2,372 feet, it is not a peak but a point on the southern shoulder of Massachusetts’s Mount Frissell. It sits just below the summit and east of the marker for Tri-State Point, the shared boundary of NewYork, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.Access is by either NewYork’s South Taconic Trail or the trails of Massachusetts’s Mount Washington State Forest.
