This forest ramble is a good rainy-day trip when Tiger Mountain is shrouded in clouds, and since you’re going to get wet anyway, you won’t be bothered by wet vegetation along the overgrown sections of trail. It’s a wonderful summer hike as well, because it stays away from the more popular places in an already very popular place.
