The trail description was accurate and helpful.
This was a fun hike to take my dog on. It's a mix of shade and open and we had a nice breeze so it never got too hot. There's a nice log bridge across the stream where the trail splits up to Fern lake and Yost which is a good spot to take a breather. The lake was pretty, surrounded by peaks and fairly quiet, there were maybe three other groups there.
We went up in about 1 hour 15 minutes and came down in about 40 minutes. Great hike, great for dogs.
