Lightly traveled, the Ruby Creek Trail is a real gem, taking hikers back into history along a mesmerizing waterway. The area once bustled with a fury of mining activity, and old digs, dilapidated structures, and rusting equipment can still be seen along this delightful trail. The hardscrabble prospectors left long ago, but their presence can still be felt in the creek’s crashing waters and breezes rushing down the narrow valley walls.
