If you want to enjoy the beauty of the Mount Si area without the thigh-burning experience of trekking to the top, jump onto this loop route. You’ll find towering old second-growth forests, massive clusters of granite boulders, and mossy shrouds covering many of the rocks and trees. The loop provides a grand Northwest wildland escape without over-working you. Following the trail out of the far edge of the parking area, climb gradually through second-growth forest for about 0.3 mile to a junction. The main Little Si Trail continues straight from there. Turn right to start your adventure on the Boulder Garden Loop (moving counterclockwise through the loop).
