Hike into Rattlesnake Canyon from high on a ridge just east of the O. Douglas Wilderness. The MJB Trail was once used as a stock driveway. It got its name because a sheepherder marked its starting point with an MJB coffee can so he wouldn’t miss it as he had before. The MJB Trail is the best access route into the middle portion of Rattlesnake Canyon.
