A loop hike over French Ridge and along French Creek, with views and wildflowers aplenty. French Ridge is the high ridge dividing the French Creek and Icicle Creek drainages. French Ridge Trail provides a convenient but strenuous loop hike to a former lookout site, featuring wide views of the Wenatchee Mountain and Stuart Range peaks.
The hike is steep, strenuous, and dry by summer and not especially popular. If you are looking for a good view hike away from the crowds, this might be a good one. Just be sure to go light, and pack an extra water bottle
