An out-and-back hike to remote Kaleetan Lake. Kaleetan Lake, nestled in a basin below its namesake peak, is one of the more remote alpine lakes despite its close proximity to Snoqualmie Pass. The hike to Kaleetan Lake passes other lakes, some popular, some hardly visited. The farther you hike along this trail, the greater your sense of solitude, unless you pick a weekend when a scout troop has chosen to make Kaleetan Lake their destination.

Had planned on camping at either Olallie, Pratt, or Kaleetan but turned around just before reaching Olallie. It was raining and about 8 inches of snow near Olallie (Oct. 20th). Will probably revisit this next year. Well maintained trail.
