Descend through mostly second-growth forest and openings, passing collapsed lava tubes, from near the western edge of Indian Heaven Wilderness to Lower Falls Creek trailhead, deep in the Wind River Canyon. Parties with stock and mountain bikers commonly use this trail. The route crosses several roads both in use and abandoned. It also follows a few roadbeds for short distances. Good route-finding and map-reading skills are necessary to follow this trail.
