Outstanding views of two Cascade Range volcanoes: nearby Mount St. Helens, which erupted on May 18, 1980 with devastating force, and Mt. Adams, about 35 miles to the east. On roads that range from gravel to loose rock. High ground clearance and 4WD will be necessary toward the end. The turnaround spot at the end is tight.
