The serpentine little road from Sullivan Lake to Granite Pass climbs the impressive canyon of Pass Creek. Then it crosses Pass Creek Pass (5,580 feet) at the southern tip of Salmo-Priest Wilderness, and provides spectacular views across the mountain ranges of northern Idaho as it descends toward Idaho’s sparkling Priest Lake. This drive can be combined with Tour 27, Salmo Mountain. On a good dirt-and-gravel road, but there are many blind curves.
