This hike is pretty secluded, but still amazing. The water is extremely clean. The people in my backpacking trip drank the water and did not get sick. There are a huge number of bears on this trail. Beware of the bears. Don't hike alone. Stick in groups of 3 or more. If you look, you can find hundreds of thousands of ladybugs. However, there are very many amazing places on this trail. The river at whisky log is really nice very a swim. However, the water is quite cold. There is also a big number of bees, deadly wasps, hornets, mosquitoes, dangerous flys, and ants. Bring a first aid kit with benidril and tweezers. Bring tons of DEET(insect repellent), long pants, long shorts, and head nets. Poison oak is evarywhere! Wear long pants! There are many rocks on this trail, as well, but if you walk, not ran, you will probably not get hurt. The trails are narrow. Be careful or you might roll down a hill.
