Two of the grandest views and flower-lined roads in the Mount Rainier area. But there is a fly in the ointment: One road has been so thoroughly put to bed that it is virtually impossible to hike, and the other road has not yet been closed off to vehicles. Although there are three roads to Huckleberry Ridge, we chose the West Fork White River Road, because the first 6.5 miles are paved.
