The CCC Road starts just around the corner from the busy Mount Si trail, climbs above the South Fork Snoqualmie valley, and turns north into the Middle Fork Snoqualmie valley.
I first heard about it in the late 1980s, and have enjoyed it since as a spectacular motor-free route into the Middle Fork. Views start early and rarely stop, as the road winds under the slopes of Teneriffe, Green, and Bessemer.
