What an easy, pleasant day hike or bike trip to a pretty backcountry lake. Take the whole family. You will see foxglove, daisies, blackberries, creeping raspberries, shrubby cinquefoil, salmonberry, goats beard, and many other mountain flowers. It’s a nice place for a picnic lunch. This 5-acre lake warms up enough for swimming, and reportedly has fish in it. There are three primitive tent sites near the lake.
