An extraordinary and versatile trail indeed. There is plenty of road, good for biking as well as hiking. You also have the option of two sideroads that lead you off into different realms. A lot of folks just come to see the beautiful Gibson Falls, just a half mile in from the start of the trail. The falls is a trademark of this road/trail, in that most visitors find special satisfaction that they took the trouble to overcome some barriers to get to the falls, thus feeling worthy of respect as explorers. But many of these would-be explorers are unaware of the secrets to be found up the road. If only they went farther and kept their eyes open!
