An urban nature walk is just the thing to perk up your spirits and remind you that spring is on the way. Here’s a favorite and reliable event on Yakima’s riverside path. The Yakima Greenway, a National Recreation Trail, is a 10-mile walking/biking path system with paved pathway, three parks, playground, two fishing lakes, and four river access landings. All facilities have rest rooms and picnic areas and are open and free year-round from dawn to dusk.
