If Crater Lake is the scenic highlight of Oregon, the Mount Scott Trail is the ultimate hike in Crater Lake National Park (the Wizard Island cone, is the best hike in the park but not the ultimate hike). While not particularly difficult, the Mount Scott Trail offers the ultimate view of Crater Lake. Highlights: A splendid panorama of all of Crater Lake and much of southern Oregon from the highest point in Crater Lake National Park.
