This completely downhill hike (with a vehicle shuttle) passes three waterfalls and runs through the scenic paradise and Nisqually River Valleys. This hike passes three waterfalls and travels all downhill. You begin at the astonishing Narada Falls and then hike by two other waterfalls, Madcap and Carter Falls. The only disadvantage of this hike is that it requires two vehicles. If you do not have access to two cars, consider starting at the Longmire Historic District and doing an out-and-back hike. Other options include arranging a shuttle pickup or leaving a bike at the end of the hike and having one person ride back to pick up the car.

This was a nice trail. We brought 9 girls aged 8-11 years for a day hike. We started at Narada Falls and walked down the trail ? distance (1 hour). It was only the second time I had been on the trail and I was unsure if we made it to Madcap Falls or to Carter Falls. I wish they had been clearly marked on the trail. The hike says easy, and it is on the way down for sure. A couple of the girls had a little trouble on the way back up, as it gets a little steep - but, still it was manageable. We'll certainly go again. And, I would encourage others to take a group of young children on the hike. They liked the waterfalls and finding sticks and being in the wilderness.
