The Graves Creek Road is washed out, adding a six mile hike to trailhead. Do not block road gate. Trail is clear of wind fall to Fire Creek. The suspension bridge below Enchanted Valley is out, hikers must ford the river. Trail is passable to stock to Enchanted Valley Ranger Station. Expect muddy, wet conditions at lower elevations, with blowdown across trail. Trail is covered with snow above the O'neil Pass Trail jct. Expect snow and avalanche danger beyond Enchanted Valley. Route navigation can be very difficult. Winter navigation, equipment, and survival skills highly recommended. Shelter in Enchanted Valley Chalet is for emergency use only.
