Great Trail! A butt-kicker towards the top. Some primitive camping spots just prior to where the trail peeks down at Home Lake. Magnificent 360 view from that point. Scramble up the nearby spires or cruise down to the lake. The last time I went there was a low cloud cover over the rest of the state and the only visible objects on the horizon was Rainier, St. Helens, Adams etc. Seems to be a good marmot hang-out.

No recent report. Deep snow in the high country.
