Roadside bathhouses in a camp on the Middle Fork Weiser River. Wear what you normally bathe in. Two small shacks, each housing a concrete bathing tub, sit in a grassy flat bordered by riverside woods. Each tub has two inlet pipes fed by the springs.
One pipe runs up to 20 degrees F hotter than the other; the temperatures are also said to vary depending on the outside air. Adjust the heat by plugging either pipe, and drain and clean the tubs after each use. The rustic bathhouses and primitive camp, on a parcel owned by Boise Cascade, are free of charge and maintained by users.
