Surrounded by a giant tree farm, Indian Heaven is a wild oasis, with 38 miles of trail through forest intermingled with park-like meadows, over 30 named lakes, and 100 or more nameless tarns. Indian Heaven is one of the three best places in the state to take young children on a week-long backpack. There are nine trails leading into the long, narrow wilderness. The one recommended here is from Cultus Creek Campground.
