A superb three-tiered waterfall lures the hiker at the end of a riverside trail. Listen. The sound of the creek from below the trail, beside it, and above it will cue your family to the nearness of the rapids and the waterfall. Have the kids listen carefully and guess how close they are to the cataract.

My family was not prepared for the beauty of these falls - really much more impressive than any of the falls on the busy Gorge trails. Though rated "moderate" for children, my preschooler and school-aged child had not problems hiking into the falls and back out. Highly recommended!
