A dream hike for families. Children love picking berries along the easy trail and playing in the warm, shallow pond at its highest point. Parents will be inspired by the magnificence of the views. Small ponds and an early-season waterfall invite children to a ducking of some kind or, on a hot day, a full shower. The trail is gently graded and, except for the early-season snow patches, is a cinch for toddlers. Older kids may engage in snowball warfare.
