This large, clear blue mountain lake lies at the foot of Tinkham Peak. Fishermen, backpacking families, and climbers all find something to enjoy. I saw one fisherman with a nineteen-inch rainbow trout on his line and a smile on his face. This is a “hikers only” trail, rough in places, muddy in others, with several small streams to cross. Fortunately, the trail is short, so little legs should be able to manage.
