Gorgeous area-we saw plenty of birds including 2 eagles and hawks. Also a few bunnies hopped in front of our path. Easy, level walk-panoramic views of the water and fields. On a clear day I bet you would be able to see Baker.
Docked stars due to not being able to do the entire loop because the pathway being blocked by fallen trees on one end, tall grass on the other. We were only able to walk maybe 1/3 of it then turn around and go back.
Beautiful day, great trail. Well groomed, peacefull, and great with 2 dogs. plenty of room and even a place to sit at the mid point of the trail. True wetlands, something right out of a Ducks Unlimited Advertisment. Hunting season is sept. through the beginning of May. Not for hiking during this time
