This short, paved, wheelchair-accessible path offers a good introduction to the ecosystem of the Carson Range through several interpretive signs placed along the trail. The visitor center is open every day but Monday during the summer season and Friday through Sunday during the winter season. Along with exhibits and naturalists to answer questions, facilities include restrooms and picnic areas. The nature trail begins near the visitor center.
