Beautiful trail! Don't miss this one! The description may be a bit misleading in regards to elevation gain. I would rate this trail as being moderate to strenuous, due to the climb in and/or out, regardless of which direction you choose. And, as expected, it was one of the busier trails we usually hike. The trail essentially leaves from the Graeagle lodge, and some of the hikers only go as far as the first/nearest lake, so the trail traffic thinned out after that. Once again, Better signage would have been helpful at the trailhead parking. I was looking for the "bear lakes loop trail", but the trailhead is actually marked round lake. We were blessed with unusually late blooming wildflowers everywhere. Great great dog trail if your dog loves water and swimming!
