This hike offers a variety of sights and sounds, and with numbered markers every 200 feet, you will always know just how far you and your pooch have traveled and how much hike you have left. Small animals rustling in the brush, fallen trees, and scents left behind by wildlife give your dog plenty of interesting things to sniff. The trail is mostly dirt with some areas of grass and some of rocks, with the occasional chunk of flint.
