This ancient and beautiful oasis is home to 24 species found nowhere else on Earth. Highlights of the refuge include Point of Rocks Springs, Crystal Reservoir, Peterson Reservoir, the refuge headquarters, and Crystal Springs Boardwalk interpretive trail and Devil’s Hole, which are managed by Death Valley National Park. These and other sites offer opportunities for walking, nature viewing, and picnics in the shade. Each is a short drive from the others. Vehicle: Passenger car.
