An interesting day hike into a remote Great Basin range. You'll hike cross-country from one high point to another along the ridgeline of the Wah Wah Mountains, enjoying wildlife, views, and solitude. This excursion into the Wah Wah Mountains makes an easy day hike. Most hikers eat lunch at one of the summits 1 or 2 miles in and make the round trip in four to five hours. Overnight hikes heading farther into the range are possible but not popular due to the scarcity of water.
