This 6-mile loop takes you from a starting point at 180 feet to the top of San Pablo Ridge at 1057 feet. Start on the paved Wildcat Creek Trail, which climbs from the parking lot in an easy grade. At 2 miles, you’ll meet up with the Mezue Trail, where you’ll take a left. After crossing a cattle gate, you’ll begin to climb again, but the views will keep you going. As you continue to climb, you’ll think the ridge is within reach, but the trail dips right and you’ll lose ground until you get to the junction with the San Pablo Ridge Trail at 3.3 miles.
