Great trails straight from the campground! We especially enjoyed Cedar trail, which (at least this time of year - early May) felt like we were in the middle of a rainforest. There are parts of it that are so shaded by tall, lush trees and the ground is completely covered in green plants that I never would have guessed that were were in Southern California, especially after the 2003 fires. Desert View trail had some great views and is also highly recommended!
Not too challenging, but great views and pretty well marked. Need to bring lots of water in summer. Some unusual wildflowers and not too much burn damage.
