Portola Redwoods is packed with wooded canyons and rushing creeks, and you could easily spend a three-day camping holiday here and still not hike every trail. This 7.4-mile hike hits many of Portola’s high points: Pescadero Creek, Tiptoe Falls, and quiet redwood forests. The last segment is an out-and-back trip to an old-growth redwood. If you’re worried that this hike is too tough, you can easily break it into two loops and traverse them separately.
