The 15 miles on Tassajara Road to the trailhead is long (45 minutes), but easily passable in a 4-wheel drive (we saw several passenger cars too). The trail itself is easy on the way out, mostly down switchbacks. There was a good amount of t@$!*% flowers and the trail was a little overgrown but easily passable with long pants.
The Narrows swimming hole was the highlight! Great sun and a very refreshing place to rinse off after the weeds.
We traced back up the Tassajara creek through the Zen Center to the main road to make this a loop. The 1.6 miles back up the road was challenging as it was steadily uphill.
Overall a great hike with a unique stop at the springs for swim and some sun.
