You can walk upcanyon with fairly few obstacles. In spots, large boulders make for some mild scrambling that helps give variety to the canyon floor, but there is nothing technical. One section has a very tight slot a couple hundred feet long in the floor of the canyon, but you can walk right past this on the slickrock streambed on either side. To descend this short section would require swimming deep holes and rappelling over dryfalls.
