Under the Rim offers less of the hoodoos and spires characteristic of the park’s northern hikes and the subject of most photographs of Bryce. Instead, this trail meanders through ponderosa forests at the base of the rugged 1000-foot main cliffs of Bryce. The trail crosses several ridges with spectacular views both up into the cliffs and downward into the low valleys east of Bryce.
