This hike—suitable for children over 8 years old and for most active hikers—is the easiest and shortest way to experience the beauty of the Zion Narrows and to see the most spectacular section of Orderville Canyon. Orderville Canyon joins the Virgin River at a very narrow section. Both canyons are beautiful at the confluence. You can walk about 5 minutes up Orderville Canyon before encountering a deep pool and waterfall. It’s impractical to proceed beyond this point.
