Day Hikes on the California Central Coast

Being able to see the curvature of the earth was worth this hike alone. We walked along the coast first along the bluffs, which had no trees and a lot of chaparral. But once we reached the edge of the park where our view of the sea extended for hundreds of miles. But on the way down, taking the trail across the ridge, you walk through a very wooded, almost rain forest, terrain with redwoods that were completely hidden on the coast route. Very amazing to discover "hidden" hundred-foot red woods.
