Drive up close and climb inside Picture Frame Arch if you can. Be careful; you have to climb up a steep wall left of the arch. Picnic at a secluded overlook along Kane Creek Canyon Rim (same as Kane Springs Canyon). Enjoy a short, relaxing day away from the crowds. The road alternates between smooth, well-packed sand and mild rocky sections. You probably won’t have to shift into four-wheel drive unless it’s wet. Route-finding is fairly easy, although numerous spur roads require that you pay attention to directions.
