A rugged trail and cross-country hike to the crest of Superstition Mountain featuring 100-mile views. As close as it is to the cities of the Valley of the Sun, the crest still has a wild, remote feel, especially as one contemplates the deep canyons, mesas, and peaks spread out to the east.

A very beautiful hike, but somewhat strenuous going up and coming down. The views from about the 3500 ft. level and up are spectacular. Be prepared for sore toes when you get back to the bottom.
