Perhaps the prettiest of all the lakes in the Wasatch, Lake Mary is a favorite for hikers, especially families in search of fir-scented woods and remote mountain scenery, all within 30 minutes of your car. The trail to Lake Mary is especially beautiful in midsummer when wildflowers are in full bloom. It’s also one of the most popular alpine hikes in the Salt Lake area, with hundreds of hikers basking in its beauty on any given summer Saturday. This trail takes off to the south, passing under two chairlifts, and merges onto a wide road heading west (right) to some cabins.

I did a moonlight hike to this lake and it was absolutely gorgeous. Ran into a moose on the way up... Can't tell you much about the wildflowers as it was dark. It was an easy hike and it was perfect for after work/end of the day!
